After a dry spell, we have NEWS!

We finally have some news!!! It’s been almost two months since our private agency downstate requested our homestudy (and all supporting paperwork) from the county up here. Our county caseworker finally sent all of the stuff to them a couple days ago, so that’s GREAT NEWS! I am very excited! Of course, this means the casual pace at which I have been redoing our profile over the past month has to be ramped up tonight so I have something to mail to her next week. Very exciting times around here… I was thinking for a while that we would have to start over completely with a new home study with the private agency, but the county was just being slow, not obnoxious! WOOHOO!!! We are also adding a bed to our home study, so that will help in the event that we have a county placement and then get a phone call about a baby from the private agency. It will just be nice to finally, officially be waiting! Maybe by the first of December!
